  • Host families needed for visiting Japanese student

  • This spring Ballenas will be hosting a group of students from Niijima Gakuen High School.  We are requesting  assistance in finding families who would be interested in hosting our Japanese visitors.   During their 12 day visit (March 24-April 4) they will be experiencing our local hospitality and learn about Canadian culture.  Host families will receive financial remuneration.  If interested please contact Mr Philip  250-248-5721 ext 2300 or email: jphilip@sd69.bc.ca

    Time - Doors open at 6:30. show starts at 7 PM.

    Fashions by A to Zebra, Disco Lemonade, Mercedes Lane, Prom fashions by the SOS, Olympic fashions by the  Bay and our own Grade 12 fashion designer Michelle Larsen will be showcasing her original designs as well. Tickets are $8.00/adult; $5.00/student and are available at the local businesses participating in the fashion show or by calling Jen @ 250-954-7324.
